Match the rise to the work
Low-rise pad and pit designs suit tire, wheel, brake and quick-service jobs where you work at a low height. Mid-rise designs give more clearance beneath the vehicle but still not standing height. If you need to walk under the vehicle, compare two-post or four-post lifts instead.
Check the vehicle and the floor
Compare the published capacity, drive-over height and lifting contact points with your vehicles. Check floor condition, mounting or anchoring requirements and the space needed around the lift in the manufacturer manual for the exact model.
